Multiple dllhost.exe's are running and IE crashes

Hello,

I appear to have a virus or malware that avast and malwarebytes are not getting rid of. Most scans are not showing anything, multiple dllhost.exe in task manager, had to use a different PC to download other tools to get log files, was unable to download on infected PC. Getting some alerts that sites are being blocked but scans are not working to remove infection.

This is my first time posting to the forum for help. Please let me know if I need to attach other log files.

Thanks
Bern

Looks good, are you experiencing any further problems ?

A few, but much better than it was. I was not able to download the farbar service scanner, I had to install on USB drive from another PC. I got a “Your current security settings do not allow this file to be downloaded” I started getting messages like that when I started getting the Avast alerts. Should I run scans again?

thanks again for helping me with my issues.

I just reset my IE settings and that appeared to have fixed the download being blocked.

OK saves me asking you to do that

Is all else well otherwise ?

Yes, all else appears well.

Thanks again for your help.

Subject to no further problems
