After a hard drive failure Sunday night, I had to break down and get a new computer. I have windows 10 now. Not sure if good or not lol as I have programs that will not run on it. But that is neither here nor there. I installed Avast. I have always had MWB free also but I see now they are an antivirus too. Can they run on the same computer? I know two virus programs conflict so before downloading and installing, thought I would ask the experts. I use the free version of both programs. Thanks!

Regardless whether or not you do an system image in case of disaster, in the case of the scenario above, if you install Avast first and then image your system, and after that install MWB, and find they don’t work well together or not at all, restoring your system to Avast only is a snap. Windows 10 natively supports disk imaging.
You can restore your system in less than 10 minutes using that image if you have the latest hardware.
FYI, Malwarebytes is currently working on a fix for a driver conflict MWB/Avast.
