I have 1 pc with avast Pro installed. But when I click on My Licences and then View details, it shows 1 device displaying a screen with a green tick and several others with the same name but displaying a black screen and question mark.
During my licence period I have reinstalled avast Pro on the same pc several times, sometimes as a result of restoring it to factory settings. I guess this must be the reason but is there any way of removing the display of these other devices in My Licences?
See if this help. Open “My Devices” and then “View Details”. Look for “Edit|Delete from Account” to your right. see image.
When I open My Devices and then View details, only one device is shown.
The Overview only shows 1 device and 1 licence. It’s when I open My Licences and View details that the multiple devices appear.
Sorry jamjar. The only place where I have seen devices with black screen is in “My Devices”. I have installed Avast! several times in my computer, and I have never had black screen, unsecured devices, or missing devices in “My licenses” eventhough I have a AIS licence active which I have installed and uninstalled a couple of times in the past and a SecureLine license that has expired.
