My avast 2015 (10.0.2206) experience

Hello,

Three problems since installing avast free AV 10.0.2206:

  1. I am unable to access the settings for the avast online security IE 11 extension. Are there any settings for it? I can access settings in FF 33.

  2. The first few restarts were uneventful but my W7 x64 machine reached a point with AvastSvc.exe using 90% cpu and it wouldn’t let my laptop shut down. After 10 minutes I forced a hard shutdown. I hope I don’t need to do this again.

  3. Firefox 33 crashed after closing.

This is a clean installation with no prior avast and my previous AV was thoroughly removed before installing avast.
