My Avast Wont Open After Update

I was running Avast Pro v8.45 or something and it was going to update to the most recent so i did and rebooted and at startup it gave me a message:
“Failed to init aswData.dll(127/127)”

Now Avast will not open and im vulnerable. Please help!

Go to Control Panel/Programs/Click on Avast and uninstall. Do not uninstall but run a repair. Reboot. If that does not work a complete uninstall and reinstall will work.
