I’m trying to register my Avast! 4 Home, and they want me to type in some characters in this box. But there aren’t any, and it’s tellin’ me to “activate the characters in my browser”. How do I do that?

Regarding your problem… how about posting some details about your browser ? : Which one do you use ? What’s your system, OS etc. Some more details always helps narrow down the problem.
Also, it would be good if you can send us a screenshot how that page looks like especially part where you don’t see those characters.
