My computer keeps connecting to a weird network.

Hi sometimes when I turn on my computer I wouldn’t have internet connectivity as it would be connected to a strange network my address would be (192.168.113.107) it has been happening with increasing regularity and when I ran ip lookup (when i was able to connect to the internet) there are a number of comments at the bottom of the page ( http://ip-address-lookup-v4.com/169/254/2 ) with people freaking out saying they have been hacked etc etc, any tips on what I can do?

All of this is getting past avast/my router so basically I don’t have a clue what to do :frowning:

it seems to be a router IP

192.168.113.107 looks like a Router IP Address. Click here to view the default settings for Senao EOA3630

After doing some digging it appears to be the ssdp server (router/service not really sure which) but why its stopping internet communication I have no idea :expressionless:

People from IP lookup seem to think its dangerous though

Well it says you have one of the foolwing routers: http://www.routeripaddress.com/routers_with_default_address_192.168.113.107/
See: http://www.fukatani.org/~hi-lo/cgi-bin/fk-ip_calc.cgi?ip=192.168.113.107&mask=30
Could also be for counterstrike: http://192.168.113.107:27019 Steam Donloads and Steam Client

Oh thanks a mil so there’s nothing major wrong at least.

It’s quite annoying though, could not being able to get at Microsoft update be a factor in this or is it to with hardware? It works sometimes and then it doesn’t work which leads me to think it could be a software problem as if it was the wiring it wouldn’t work at all.
