When I go into Safe Mode on my Computer, my fan starts going really fast and staying like that. And its not like my computer is really active either.
I don’t understand why it does that??
But when I go into regular XP, it goes back to its normal quiet mode.
What’s behind this strange behavior?
Can someone kindly explain this to me?
Not sure but i guess that when you are in normal mode, there is a program regulating the temp like a thermostat http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thermostat
But when in safe mode this program does not start and the fan just run at full speed
That is the most likely answer as I have seen this happen occasionally with a few computers I support.
