This is bad. My Firefox 3.5.2 keeps closing when I use it. I am doing a virus scan with avast!. I hope it’s a bug. I am using IE 8 because I can’t run Firefox.
Update: I may have found the problem and it’s PC Tools Firewall Plus that’s maybe causing Firefox to close.

I had to turn off PC Tools Firewall to see if it causing Firefox to close/crash and that stop the browser from closing/crashing. I then turned PC Tools back on to see if it does it again. I did get one message from Firefox Crash Reporter (CrashReporter.exe), but I couldn’t remember it. If Firefox crashes again, I will write it down on a piece of paper and give it to you.
Simply remove Firefox from the allowed programs in your Firewall permitted programs,
once that’s done, open firefox and waite for PCTools firewall to again ask for permission to allow Firefox.
Be sure to check off “remember my selection”.
Windows supports both Firefox and your firewall.
You may check your DEP [Data Execution Prevention] settings too. It may cause some problems sometimes like in my Google Chrome 4.0.
