Hi!

I have installed avast! a few days ago (got totally frustrated with Norman…). When I tried to update avast!, package setup_av_pro-165.vpu makes me :cry: it starts downloading nicely, but after 2 or 3 % it stops. I waited one hour (done this three times already) and nothing happened. Any ideas what to do?

I have dial-up (or modem) 55 k, but the package is not that big (362021 bytes) that it should cause any problems - I think…

It will be better if you download the full setup file (http://files.avast.com/iavs4pro/setupengpro.exe) using a download manager (restart broken downloads). You can see some download managers links here ((Some of them are Shareware)). :wink:

After that, you can update automatically with the incremental files like you tried to do… :wink:
