Hello,
I noticed in the logs that 2-3 times a day the IP address from my Router (192.168.0.1) is blocked by Avast Firewall. Should I allow the
connection or leave it blocked?
Thank you for help
so, do u get connected, after all?
seems, like yes - as u stated it’s in ur log.
is anything blocked u want 2 use?
don’t get the problem…
asyn
Thanks for responding Asyn.
Yes I get connected, no problems. This IP address is from D-Link. If it’s not suspicious, why would AIS block it then?
I unblocked my subnet IPs and Mask but can still not get out with internal computers - is this working for your, and if yes, how did you do it? Thanks
I got “some” traffic from the router blocked as well a few days ago, and it was logged by AIS (well that’s how I found out ;D )… this said that didn’t have any sort of impact and LAN communication runs fine (file and printer sharing).
@ the OP: try to switch global policy (home/work/public)
I have it on home and it is still not working. I just changed to Work but it did make no difference.
Thanks, four days now and no traffic, strange…
no traffic on the log or on the modem ? :-\
I need to open IP (192.168.0.1) and somehow avast 5 is not letting me do that.
Sorry, I meant no traffic on the log. For me no problem with IP 192.168.0.1
