* My Shared Files * (Freeware, Shareware, Funware)

Thank you Bob,
I downloaded and installed Gigaget, and after figuring out how to use it in place of FreshDownload, find that it is a least twice as fast for your files. That makes a big difference.

Hi RoRo
This proves that not all free programs are of equal value.
In my personal experience, Gigaget has outperformed every other download manager I’ve tried.
(By the way, I’ve tried quite a few including many of the paid versions)

The files are fairly large but well worth the download time.

I’ve used one of the pictures taken during our trip to Alaska in August of 2005
and turned it into a screen saver.

Even though it’s only 574KB in size, it does meet all the requirements for a full screen saver.
Hope you like it.

You’ll find other screen savers at MySharedFiles in the ScreenSaver folder.

Freeware for the week ending 06-22-07

I’ve learned -

that it takes years to build up trust,
and only seconds to destroy it.

To see what else I’ve learned and what I value take a look at the following.

I received this many years ago and find that re-reading it every once in a while is very very
good for the sole.

A tribute to the nine firefighters who lost their lives in the terrible fire in Charleston SC on 6-18-07
and the rest of the firefighters who risk their lives daily.

This may take a few min. to download but in my opinion it’s
well worth the wait. (5,355,217 bytes)

Turn on your speakers.

For those who missed it the first time around…

Ever get tired of searching for a setting inside the control panel?
Inside Windows XP are hundreds of settings that require endless clicking
through the Operating System that can get really frustrating.
Windows in a box was designed to eliminate all that.Sits on your desktop, or any place else you decide to put it, (I placed a shortcut in the Quick Launch Toolbar)
easy to navigate, and puts an end to all the frustration of endless searching for settings.
Spyware, Adware, and Malware free.

Window’s In A Box.exe is also available at MySharedFiles

Worth a try indeed 8)

Though I saw nothing in the photos on the web site that I did not already know how to find, I decided to download it and give it a try. The advantage is that some of these things are much easier to find and/or get to for use. It took less than 30 seconds to download using dial-up.

Nice little program, indeed.

Totally agree Nice little program Bob thanks
