My SMS and call filter are not blocking

I have an Optimus M Android 2.2 It is not blocking calls or sms. Are the buttons in the filter suppose to be grey or black for the filter to be on maybe I am turning it off instead of on and the time is set from 0:00 - 23:59

I figured it out holding head down in shame. if the buttons are grey the filter is off black is on ta da i should have tested that out before asking. :-\
