My typing moves by itself and transposes numbers and letters and passwords...

I think I have a virus. My typing moves at times itself. Malware bytes did not catch it. Avast did not catch it.
The automatic movements sometimes transposes numbers and and letters and passwords…
What do I have to do ?

We actually need a little more information to assist you. Please read this thread and post the requested logs: https://forum.avast.com/index.php?topic=194892.0

Malwarebyte shows now twelve unwanted pups and one malware
Avast virus scan shows “no virus found.”

Recently iI also subscribed to Avast cleaner and they fixed it good

I am also a subscriber to malwarebytes, to Avast Virus and Avast Cleaner.

You want me to do now Farbar and send you the file?

I hope this is the malware file after re-starting

Yes, please run and post the Farbar files. Thank you.

It got a Farbar ADDITION

Thank you the new logs. Let’s remove a few of the loose ends and see if your system is better then …

FIRST >>>>

Please go to START (Windows Orb) >> Control Panel >> Uninstall a Program or Programs and Features and remove the following (if listed):

Driver Support

To do so, left clicking on the name once and then click Uninstall/Change at the bar above the list window.

Follow the prompts of the uninstaller BUT please read carefully any questions it asks before answering; some uninstallers will try and deceive you into keeping the software.

SECOND >>>>

Open notepad by pressing the Windows Key + R Key, typing in Notepad in the Run dialog and then pressing Enter. Please copy the contents of the Code box below. To do this highlight the contents of the box by clicking [Select] next to Code: , then right click on any of the highlighted text and select copy. Paste this into the open notepad. Save it to your desktop as fixlist.txt

NOTE. It’s important that both files, FRST64 and fixlist.txt are in the same location or the fix will not work.

NOTICE: This script was written specifically for this user, for use on that particular machine. Running this on another machine may cause damage to your operating system

Run FRST64 by right clicking on the FRST64.exe file, selecting “Run as Administrator…”. The User Account Control may open up; if it does, select Yes to continue to let FRST open and load.

The tool will check for an updated version of itself every time it loads; please allow it to do this and the program will either inform you it is downloading an updated copy (and to wait until it is safe to continue) or show nothing (meaning there is no update found) and you can continue on. Press the Fix button just once and wait. The tool will create a restore point, process the script and ask for a restart of your system.

https://s26.postimg.org/5cteyacft/Press_the_FIX_button.png

If for some reason the tool needs a restart, please make sure you let the system restart normally. After that let the tool complete its run.

When finished FRST will generate a log on the Desktop (Fixlog.txt). Please attach it to your reply post. Also, please tell me how your system is running now. Thank you.

Thanks!
But I got windows ten
and they updated it
and it does not show Control Panel.

So how to do it?

@ ar2013
Just click the Windows key and when that opens start typing Control Panel before you have completed typing it, you will see options being displayed - Control Panel will be one of those.

Thank you DavidR. and dbrisendine

Attached is the file.
The computer runs now like new.

Probably you fixed also the fact
that I always had to re-start the computer
when starting out and it showed no internet connection…

You’re welcome.

ar2013 Please check for the Fixlog.txt attachment; I did not see it. Thank you.

Here is the file:

When and how does this "talk: continue so I can clean up the desktop?

I notice the Furbar file was downloaded three times. So what is going on?

@dbrisendine is notified. he may be in a different time zone then you so be patient

Sorry about the wait: if everything seems to be running as normal then we can clean the tools off the system and get you on your way.

Clean up of Malware Removal Tools
Now that we are through using these tools, let’s clean them off your system so that should you ever need to have malware removed again (we hope not) fresh, updated copies will be downloaded.

[]Download Delfix from here to your desktop and double click it to start the program
[*]Ensure Remove disinfection tools is ticked
Also tick:
[
]Create registry backup
[*]Purge system restore

https://s26.postimg.org/kbyc61th5/Del_Fix_Standard_Selection.png

[*]Click Run
[*]The program will run for a few moments and then notepad will open with a log. Note: Please save this log first before rebooting your system (if asked to); DelFix does not save the log as it is trying to remove all traces of our work on your system. Please attach the log in your next reply.

You can delete any log files left on your desktop as these are no longer needed.

““if everything seems to be running as normal then we can clean the tools off the system and get you on your way.””
The word here is “seems.”
I do not know what normal means.

Keep in mind that the computer came with windows 7 and was “upgraded” by Microsoft itself to windows 10 for free. Don’t know if it was “normal” that the connection to the internet needs always re-starting the computer…and still needs it…

I do not know if my complaint can be fixed: the mouse problem etc etc Keep in mind that I have recently added Avast cleaner so I do not know who did what. The cleaner shows a 100% but I do not know what the files say to the expert and if it shows normal…

Avast changed the system too just today.
I can’t go in under the old handle ar2013; so it gives me a choice of google or facebook to get into the Avast Forum…
and there I do a search for me…ar2013 the year I opened the account…

My computer shuts itself off when it goes into the sleeping mode. I have to always to re-start it.
Also when I turn ton he computer it is not connected to the internet and I have to re-start it. Always!

Sorry for the delay; bad weather up here right now.

If Avast AV and Malwarebytes scan’s come back clean then your system is not infected. The FRST Fixlist script successfully removed all that the logs showed. You can then run the DelFix.exe program to remove the tools used to clean your system of malware.

If you are not using Skype to make video calls / chat online, I would recommend uninstalling these programs as they are not needed to run Windows properly and they could possibly be used by malicious hackers to get at your system.

As to the issues with the way the system works, I would suggest you contact Avast Support (since you have Avast Cleanup Premium) to see if they can help or to seek help at one of the System Tech type support websites; GeeksToGo.com or BleepingComputer.com both have very good technical support sections and are free for personal assistance.
