OK, it was my fault… it was still running from the CD Boot so I pulled the CD and rebooted. File is attached.

OK… it seems clean and seems to be running OK. Two questions:
- Whats the best procedure to uninstall Panda now and install Avast without screwing it up?
- Is there a easy LOL registry cleaner as this Vista was installed on top of WXP and lots of programs have been removed outdated so its a little sluggish… is that registry?
Thanks again for all the help… you are a genius!
Mike
Panda have an uninstall tool to remove all remnants here http://www.pandasecurity.com/homeusers/support/card?id=55509
I cannot recommend a registry cleaner as they can do more harm than good
But a good clean out and defrag usually works wonders
Clear Cache/Temp Files
Download TFC by OldTimer to your desktop
[*] Please double-click TFC.exe to run it. (Note: If you are running on Vista, right-click on the file and choose Run As Administrator).
[*]It will close all programs when run, so make sure you have saved all your work before you begin.
[*]Click the Start button to begin the process. Depending on how often you clean temp files, execution time should be anywhere from a few seconds to a minute or two. Let it run uninterrupted to completion.
[*]Once it’s finished it should reboot your machine. If it does not, please manually reboot the machine yourself to ensure a complete clean.
THEN
Run Windows defragmenter
