Hi, a few days ago (like i’m sure happened for several people) avast told me to remove My WOT. i’ve since read a few of the topics on here and seen the problems.
My question is, are there similar addons that are trustworthy that i can use? preferably like MY WOT that would add Good/Bad symbols to google searches.
Has anyone had any experience with Norton Safe Web or McAfee SiteAdvisor? will adding them effect my Avast?

Alternative OpenDNS
Is this recommended even if you have Avast online security running ?
I’ve gotten rid of WOT. I used it strictly as a backup scan. Currently AOS is what I rely on. 
Sorry but no Norton on my system. I got rid of Norton back in 2003 when I found Avast.
Crazy Monkey: Bitdefender Traffic Light (http://www.bitdefender.com/solutions/trafficlight.html) was mentioned on another forum discussing WOT. I uninstalled WOT when the story broke and am now using Traffic Light. Also using Norton DNS - belt & suspenders. Norton DNS has prevented me from traipsing where I shouldn’t have gone more than once.

You dont install any Norton stuff, you can use there DNS same as if you use OpenDNS
I’m quit happy with Avast SecureLine. No Norton for me.
VPS and DNS are not the same thing
