Why I can’t install Avast free? Can anyone help me. Os: XP 32 sp2.

why?..what error do you get?

what antivirus did you use before?
have you uninstalled it before trying to install avast?
did you run the vendors removal tool to clear all files that may conflict?

OBS..... i recomend upgrading to SP3..... support for SP2 has ended. ;)

I download avast free successfully, but when I try to install it does not work, nothing error message.

It’s my really new PC, never installed antivirus before.

new computers often come with a preinstalled trail AV....this must be uninstalled bfore you install avast anyway...you say it has win XP...so it cant be that new?....or did you build it yourselfe?
