Myspace log in

Ever since installing Avast I am having problems logging into Myspace. Is it possible that my anti-virus software is affecting this or is it just coincidence. I have Hughesnet running through a Linksys Wireless G router. It is happening on my laptop (wireless) and on my desktop (plugged into router).

Which problems?
Which browser do you use?

When I try to log in it says “You must be logged in to do that”. I am using the correct name and password. I can go to someone elses home and log in fine. I cleared all cookies, temp internet files, and history. Still won’t let me log in. I am using Internet Explorer but it will do the same thing when I try Firefox.

try updating your IE and your Firefox to the latest version.

It is the latest versions.

I have a problem logging on to MySpace and it has been happening since the last Avast update. The problem forces Mozille Fire Fox to close. If I switch to using IE I do not have a problem.

the web address I’m having the problem at is;

http://www.myspace.com/?si=1

the error message I get is:

“NPSWF32.DLL” appears to be related to a flash player. Is it up to date? Try uninstalling it and installing the latest version. More info/test here: http://www.adobe.com/shockwave/welcome/
Is important to uninstall the old one first, here: http://www.softwarepatch.com/software/flash-uninstaller-program.html
