Hi all, I’ve just installed avast home and it now tells me that my memory if infected. I have the nachi-B virus on a windows exe file, but it won’t let me clean. How can i get rid of it, anybody know?..cheers!!
hmm…err…i’m not too sure either…i thought avast should be able remove it…

Where exactly is the Virus found ? (full path/folder/filename; see avast’s report/log)
also apply all Windowsupdates, or it will reappear again
oh yes… ;D…i didn’t realise avast cleaner can clean nachi worm… 
Boot XP into safe mode and run a full scan with avast, it then should be able to remove the virus. If that doesn’t work sechdule a preboot scan with avast.
