NDIS mini Port #10 - Resource Monitor Performance Test

I am getting a hardware driver error message on my laptop which refers to Avast and related errors when running a "Resource Monitor Performance Test.

See Attachment Below.

Can someone please tell me how to repair this?

Thank you

try avast repair
controlpanel > ad/remove programs > avast > uninstall/change > repair option … wait a minute and reboot

you have of course removed any previous used AV using that vendors removal tool?

Pondus:

Thank you for your prompt and informative response.

I performed the repair as instructed but sadly I am still getting the following message:

tv_ConfigMgrErr19

A device has a configuration problem that prevents it from working properly.
details:
The device, avast! Firewall NDIS Filter Miniport, is reporting “tv_ConfigMgrErr19”.

This device will not be available until the issue is resolved.

The Plug and Play ID for this device is 21 and 22

  1. Verify the correct driver is installed.
  2. Try updating the drivers using Windows Update.
  3. Check with the manufacturer for an updated driver.
  4. Attempt to uninstall and then reinstall the device using Device Manager.

Any suggestions?

see instructions here https://forum.avast.com/index.php?topic=53253.0
scroll down to Farbar Recovery Scan Tool … run as instructed and attach the two diagnostic logs here in next reply

essexboy will then have a look when online, may take a few hours

Attached are the reports as requested.

Thank you for your assistance.

Go to control panel > device manager
Right click avast! Firewall NDIS Filter Miniport which should have a yellow triangle alongside it (if there is more than one do them all in turn)
Select uninstall and OK through
Reboot and let me know if the error has gone

Essex Boy RULES!!!

There were three drivers that needed to be uninstalled.

The performance monitor report now shows no errors.

I will write Santa and ask him to bring you extra milk and cookies for Christmas.

Great Job.

Thank you.
