Necessary active antispyware software with Avast home

I use Avast home and Comodo firewall with Defense+ , necessary to use active antispyware software? if necessary which antispyware ?

Malwarebytes Anti-Malware is often recommended here as a second opinion on-demand scanner.

SUPERAntiSpyware is another good Antispyware

Paid version gives you Real-Time Protection

I use active windows defender, is it enough ?

I also use Windows Defender.
Some people will say it is no good.

People with more experience than me will probably answer better than i could.

Hi Defence,

I would say Malwarebytes Anti-Malware and SUPERAntiSpyware are two most popular antispyware software secondary to Antivirus. Both also working pretty well with avast!.

I have both malwarebytes and superantispyware and both are working great.

Never ever get comodo products because they are silent malware promoters.

Use Online Armor or outpost firewall instead.

Avast! 4.8 Home/Outpost Firewall/Malwarebytes 1.39 Free/Windows Defender/Windows Automatic Update On for Windows and Microsoft only and if you got Vista then UAC also need to be On. Also for Vista their Firewall is 2 ways so you will be fine. ;D

SuperAntiSpyware do the same job as Malwarebytes just Tracking Cookies are no dangerous. So i would say they are the two same and i would say Malwarebytes has really a friendly and easy interface and already very good configured.

As far as I’m aware, isn’t this disabled by default?

Well i did check me and it is i mean sorry for miss spell.

Edit : Nice new computer also lol you should get what i say if u want. But me i use Windows Vista Firewall and no problem here. I play a lot game and did see 1 time Vista Firewall detected a threat which was for recorded me but i did block it so i scanned and all was clean hehe.

I thought only inbound connections are protected, not outbound ???

Inbound and Outbound with Vista Firewall. Inbound only for XP.

See my edit.

What can you say Spyware Doctor Starter Edition, itis free and have active protection.

I’ll stick with Malwarebytes Anti-Malware (MBAM)

Vista only has outbound control if you enable it with an application like Vista Firewall Control.
