Hi Team,

I have purchased AVAST Internet Security 2015 and i had clearly removed the old anti virus. Then i have followed the installation steps which is available AVAST site with my activation code.

I got successful installation message after i tried to open the application i got error like “YOU ARE UNPROTECTED …”.

Here with i have attached the error screen shot.

Can some one help to resolve the issue?

What exact version of avast ?
What other av was installed and how did you remove it ?
Any other security (related) software installed ?
Have you rebooted a few times ?

Repair Avast:

  1. Control Panel → Add/Remove programs → Avast
  2. Click on ‘Repair’.
  3. Follow instructions.
  4. Reboot.

I have already done using repair and other stuff. But still i get the same error. :frowning:

What other av was installed and how did you remove it ? No
It can't be both. Besides that windows 7 comes with Defender.

Sorry for the confusion…

Yes earlier i had used AVG… then used AVG remover i had clear the old one and rebooted my laptop…

Later i started to install AVAST…
