Any one have problems getting rid of this Antivirus Program. Continually shows a number of virus detected and asking to download their software for a free trial. I’ve tried to remove it from the windows removal software, but to no avail. Did a boot scan and still there. Very annoying with popups out of the system tray. I’m pretty much of novice regarding computers. Any help would be appreciated.
I suggest RogueRemover, it scans and removes any rogue software it finds.

According to the Malware-removing Experts at Bleeping Computer; they
recommend malwarebytes.org “other” program called “Anti-Malware” ; see
www.bleepingcomputer.com/malware-removal/remove-antivirus-xp-2008 .
run safe mode. and remove this in add/remove programs.
then install ccleaner, run the cleaner for registry to totally delete all files associated with that thing.
