NEED HELP PC running sloooow

Hi,

My PC is running slowly right now and seriously frustrating me. Cant really pinpoint the reason though. I took the liberty of scanning with Malwarebytes and the log is enclosed below. I have this annoying pop up from McAfee telling that my computer is at risk, it doesn’t look like the usual one (the color is different–red with a grey background). Also when I try to run SPSS 11 my PC runs slowly or crashes (all occasionally). Take a look and see, and tell me how to proceed.
Thank you in advance

                                                                        Lightman_Kwesi

could it be that your license is out?......you know this is avast forum and not McAfee ?

Wowwwwww

Looking kinda silly here. Had a similar issue where the pop-up was actually a virus. I think it had something to do with avast. I got that sorted out here, so naturally I came back to place I where I received the help. So! Ignoring the McAfee license out thing. Do you have any idea why my PC is moving so slowly. Since Avast is my only protection I thought some virus got past it. Your thoughts please. (It’s moving quicker today though, since I used the Malwarebytes)

Do you have McAfee and avast installed on your system ?

You can’t ignore the McAfee license ‘thing’ as essentially that is telling me McAfee is still installed or remnants remain. Having two resident AVs installed can cause conflict and will no doubt use much more resources that could have this effect.

You need to uninstall McAfee using the normal add remove programs, etc. and possibly run their McAfee removal too to ensure all remnants are gone.
