I am running Zone Alarm which is constantly detecting 80000000.@, with virus name, “Backdoor.Win64.ZAccess.bt.”
ZA lists it as “treated”, however it keeps detecting and treating it. Anyone have an idea on how to remove this file?
ZA also detected several other viruses: TrojWare.Win32.Dorifel.a@285729541, Trojan.win32.Jorik.ZAccess.jxp, TrojWare.JS.Iframe.GM@284678526. However, those appear to have been removed for good.
Pcdisaster welcome to Avast! Forums.
Follow this guide: http://forum.avast.com/index.php?topic=53253.0
and attach ( Do not copy/paste ) logs for malwarebytes’, OTL, and aswMBR.exe.
It may take a while for one of our specialist in removal of malware can get to you because of time difference in locations.
So be patient.
Not sure why this wouldn’t be a ‘ZA Forum’ issue. :-
The OP doesn’t indicate any Avast product or alerts. ???
are you running ZoneAlarm firewall with antivus?
do you also have avast installed?
Monitoring
80000000.@ initially detected by ZA in recycle bin. Avast identified Win32:Kryptik-JTI [TRJ] on bootscan. Subsequent Avast bootscan did not find virus. Followed instructions to generate logs (attached). Also loaded and unloaded Comodo, which identified and deleted trojans. Running MBAM Trojan.0Access identified and deleted. MBAM identified Trojan.0Access again in the recycle bin spontaneously (i.e. without scanning). Any help eliminating persistent infection appreciated!
It looks like your userinit and services files are infected
