Need help removing a malicious widget

Hi guys,

I have no idea if this is the right place to ask for help with this, but I’ll give it a whirl in hopes you can help, or redirect this post to the proper place. So here goes… Some how I managed to install this most annoying browser widget or some kind of malicious application. I say it’s malicious because it tracks everything I type into a search engine than pops up a window to find a professional that can fix what ever it is I am looking for. This application is called “No Problem” URL: www.noproblemppc.com. The site lists multiple ways to rid yourself of this thing, but none of them have worked. I have done and checked everything outside of doing a complete registry search which would be my next thing to look at, however, this laptop being Win8, I do not understand yet the consequences of messing with it’s registry unlike earlier WinOS versions. Not only do their FAQ’s not help my situation, but it would appear that half the links on their site especially the links to contact them are links to know where. I have tried to get 3 different malware apps to help me find it and remove it, but none of them are finding it. My guess is that some people may actually want this service and the potential privacy violations that can come once installed on own’s PC. I really need this thing gone, and I can not find any way to find it and remove it. Please keep in mind, when I say I have tried everything I could, I have tried the following… Run 3 Different malware detection apps, Avast, Ad-Aware, and Spybot… Nothing. I have checked their FAQ’s and they list a few different ways to remove it, I have tried all ways they describe and not one have them has led me to find where is thing is on my PC nor how to get rid of it. I have tried contacting them, no go. Guys, I am desperately in need to help finding and removing this thing from my machine. and yes I have tried Google.

Thanks

Thanks Pondus, While MBAM runs, I figured I would post the AW-Cleaner report. I will post the MBAM report once complete. Last time I ran this (which was 3 nights ago) it took almost 1 hour… Just one question, is there any privacy or security threat to me by making these logs somewhat public? Thanks.

Run malwarebytes quick scan …remeber to update mbam first
Security risk from log NO

Hey Guys,

I wanted to let you all know that I was not able to fix this. Basically right after posted this, things on my machine got so bad, my machine took a turn for the worst. For some reason my keyboard stopped functioning as did my touchpad. I had to connect a usb mouse and more then likely a usb keyboard, but I did not have one. I tried to reset back to a previous restore point but they all seem to be corrupt. I wound up having to do a full system reset, which wiped my drive clean. This really sucked, but it was the only thing I could do to gain control back of my machine. Well, it’s back now, and running fine. Thankfully the malware was removed by this so I was no able to complete the steps you outlined for me, so I can’t add anything else to this thread. I can say however, that if anyone else get’s this thing, it will screw you up, I am sure what actually was because of this, and what wasn’t. Thanks for the help and I’ll be back if I run into anything else.

Thanks!
