Hello, I need help getting rid of bluescreens my computer has been having recently, I’ve run scans to see if any viruses maybe causing them but the all scans by Super Anti-Spyware and Malwarebtyes have come up empty. I’ve also cleaned out my pc hardware to resolve any thermal issues. In addition I’ve noticed unusually high cpu usage in the 80% - %100 range when only one or two applications are running.
I’ve run whocrased analysis, results are attached to this post.
2.Click to clear the Load Startup Items check box. NoteThe Use Original Boot.ini check box is unavailable.
3.Click the Services tab.
4.Click to select the Hide All Microsoft Services check box.
I did all steps but I’m not sure if I did 2 correctly.
Some additional details regarding the high cpu usage are that it’s stays unusually high for a couple hours or more then some how goes back to normal levels.
Ok, I just found out what the problem was. Microsoft recently released a windows update that causes skype to guzzle your cpu usage if you don’t have internet explorer set as you default web browser. THIS SUCKS!
I had to open up internet explorer and set it as my default browser and it fixed the problem.
