Need Help with Firewall Configuration

I’m sorry for being such a noob, but I cannot figure out how to configure this firewall. On my kids phone, (I have him on prepaid plan) I would like to block all data and Roaming to prevent buring through his plan. (Leaving him with only WIFI access)

When I enter the firewall settings, I tap Enable Firewall (green Check Mark) and then I on Block all Apps i tap on 3g and R turning them from gray to black.

Will this do what I am looking for? Is there any downside to doing it this way?

Google voice is one app I would like to have 3G access…is there a way to override this setting for that one app?

Hello,

i depends on the pre-setting of the firewall. if it’s set to Blacklist Mode, you mark the apps that you’d like to block.

in your case i’d use whitelist mode and only select the modules used by google voice.
you might have to do some trial an error to find out if it’s only the google voice app or if more processes need internet access for google voice to work.
