Need help with what version to get!

I am currently looking at the different versions of Avast for a home network and I am lost as to what one will work. Currently there are in the works or existing a Win2003 Domain Controller, Win2003 FileServer, Win2003 Backup FileServer, Exchange 2003 Server, and a Asterisk PBX box. What I want to do is the following…

  1. The Server grab all current updates and distributes them automatically to the clients as they sign on to the network. No more Individual Client Updates.

  2. The Server notifies when there is a Virus on a computer.

  3. Scan e-mail as they come in.

There are 11 computers counting servers in the house and growing. I have seen that Nortons has a Server product that will do the above, but does avast offer something similiar? ???

Looks to me that you need the server edition and pro for the client systems

You’ll probably want to get the “Advanced Suite” and use it with ADNM

I recommend to trial the products before buying. Download ADNM http://www.avast.com/eng/adnm.html and use it to manage the individual AV’s.
