There is no x64 bit program of avast. The 32 bit version will work fine on a 64 bit computer. (Feel free to correct if im wrong but as far as im aware there isnt one)

No need to correct you as you are correct. 8) There is no 64 bit specific avast download. The 32 bit is all there is.

Whilst there is no specific 64bit version, where necessary/required, 64bit drivers are included in the installation file and loaded as required.
