need to install avast online security!

Hi, I need to install avast online security on IE and firefox, how can I do? I can’t find a way to install it in avast interface menu. please help!

It is installed automatically unless you used the custom install when first installing avast and unticked the feature, it can be added and removed via Programs And Features/avast/uninstall/change

I have installed avast today on my computer and avast plugin has appeared automatically on chrome, but not on FF and IE. I have checked in avast/uninstall/change and the option “browser protection” is checked!How can I do to install it?

Right click the toolbar at the top of your browser and avast should be listed there and it will also be in Tools /Manage add-ons.

What version of windows are you using ? win7 and 8 now have “Enhanced Protected Mode” if this is enabled in Tools/ Internet Options/ Advanced then the avast browser plugin ( AOS ) will be disabled.

I have installed the plugin on firefox, but I can’t do it on IE. If I click the toolbar at the top of the browser avast is not listed, that’s strange, I can’t understand where is the problem. I have windows XP

Well I don’t have to much experience with XP these days so someone more familiar with it might be able to chip in, what service pack is your XP and what version of the IE browser are you using ?

It’s an old computer with windows xp service pack 2 and IE verison 6

I don’t think the browser plugin is compatible with IE 6, your on such an outdated and insecure version of windows so the browser plugin isn’t going to help you much anyway.

Why have you not installed SP3 ???

simply because on this computer is installed windows xp service pack 2, and I just installed avast on it

If it’s a 32-bit system, update to SP3 and try again.
