Need to Re-download After Complete System Restore

My computer was wiped clean after a complete system restore. I need to download and re-install Avast Premier and re-activate my paid license, but I can’t find a way to download the software without purchasing it again. I requested my license to be resent and I have received it, but it says Premier must be installed first before opening the license. I have downloaded and installed Avast Free for temporary protection while I’m figuring this out. What do I need to do next?

Here you go: http://files.avast.com/iavs9x/avast_premier_antivirus_setup.exe

I thought that applying the Premier license would automatically start the upgrade process of the free version ???

That is my impression also.

That’s all I did when I upgraded one system from Avast free to Avast InternetSecurity (AIS).

There is also the option to download the trial and use the license.

Thank you all for your replies–I thought I could do it through Avast Free too, but it took me to a purchase page. But I tried Asyn’s link and it worked like a charm. Premier downloaded automatically, I extracted and opened my license and it inserted itself, not a headache, not a glitch–wow, I could get used to this! Thanks, Asyn!

Applying the Premiere license while having the free version of Avast on your system would have converted the free product to the premiere product.
At this point, it’s really a mute issue since you’ve taken care of the original problem.

You’re welcome.
