Need to reinstall home edition for lady

who is a new user of the program, but had a power surge and had to have her computer taken into the shop. Now she’s getting it back today and I have to reinstall the free home edition which I’d done just about a month ago.

Question: do I start downloading as a new user with her e-mail address or do I choose the lost registration key option? I’m not looking forward to having any problems where it might tell me she’s already registered and such, because she’s 87 years old, and will be sitting there as I do it, along with another guy who might be very distracting.

I don’t want to run into any problems that I can’t correct, as I’m limited in MY knowledge of computers also.

Thanks,
Jovin ???

If you have’nt deleted the email with the Avast activation serial then just re-enter otherwise just register it again using the same details you used before and avast will just just issue you another one under the same account.

Thanks so much for responding…sounds good.

It shouldn’t hurt using either option (if you can’t find the old registration email), new registration, renewal or the lost registration, you will need to know is the exact email address she registered using for the lost registration option.
