Being an Avast user with numerous licenses for PC’s, tablets, and smart phones I have always been happy with teh product, because it just worked and I did not have to spend time making it work. The lastest version is beyond my time an effort to get working as it should. For some reason the FireFox Online Security has to be tweeked for almost every website I visit. I am to busy to setup every device we have so we can view websites that we log into. Prime examples are our financial institution, various websites to pay bills, and even simple things like logging into a wireless account and not get errors that you have been logged out, missing webpage areas, and lack of being able to scroll down the entire page on other sites.
Maybe if these issues get fixed I may be back, but considering some of us have payed for licenses, we expect a product that works, and has been QA’ed properly. The old version works, but I don’t have time to sit here and upgrade when folks say things are fixed, find out they are not, and having to restore from a backup. This used to be the best product out there, but the latest version is just not working out for me and I can’t spend hours a day on it.

None of that is in the help file, but misses the point. Turning off enhancements because they don’t work is not a fix, it is a temporary solution, and the enhancement does not even tell you it blocked something, you have to figure it out on your own. I just bought another product and it has none of these issues and works as it should. I hope the folks at Avast get it sorted out and the enhancements work as they envisioned them. I always liked Avast and wish them the best.
