Nero install found virus!

Hi
Whilst updating my version of Nero to the latest, Avast found a virus and would not let me ignore it, so I had to abort installation, turn off the scanner and start again.
The file was msa.dll, and it is part of the Nero installation - what would cause Avast to see this as a virus, and will it happen again at next update? Can I add exemptions (Pro)?
Sorry for all the questions, but was surprised to see the error and frustrated at having to turn off the av software to install.

Martin

Update to the latest version of the virus database - that will get rid of the false alarm.

Thanks
It was a bit of a worry, but thought it would be worth mentioning.

You can always do this with ‘false postives’ (not real virus).
But you must be sure testing the file against other on-line scanners.
If you have an ‘old’ installation that is being reported as infected, better than to shutdown the providers, will be send the false positive file to Chest for further analysis and then, if it is clean, move back to its original place 8)
