Hi,

Since the last AVAST update, I have met a problem with NetBeans IDE :

Each time I try to open a new file, NetBeans alert to me that the application is already running a cannot open the file.

To open it, I need to close netbeans, and open it again. Another solution is to desactivate AVAST, then it works perfectly…

The Resut of the last AVAST update is now I working without protection since 1 week…

Do someone find a solution ?

I bought a personnal licence (with firewall)
Not other security app
Avast since the beginin (8month) on OS. I use it for long time…

I can’t find panel to desactivate “agent” to try to understand what appening…

OK, see if that helps:

  1. Download avast! Internet Security: http://files.avast.com/iavs9x/avast_internet_security_setup.exe
  2. Follow instructions: http://www.avast.com/uninstall-utility (Run this tool for all prior installed avast! versions…!!)
  3. Reinstall avast! with the downloaded installer from point 1.
  4. Reboot.

Thx but nothing change !

In options panel, i found “active protection” and switch off the firewall solve my problem.

That means the firewall is the orogin of the problem. I’m seaching the bad parameter who blocks opening file in netbeans…

No sorry, I’m on avast! free here. Someone else will know where to look for it.

With your 22931 posts, I hoped you were working for AVAST with big professionnal account !

No Log founded… So no idea to resolve…

avast employees. It’s just that each have more expertise in one area or another than others. :slight_smile:

There are translators that are NOT Avast employees. :)
