netfxupdate?

Hi- First time to post to a forum like this, so please bear with me. The last few days, when starting up I get an Avast message that it has detected

c/WINDOWS/Microsoft.NET/Framework/v1.1.4322/netfxupdate.exe

Avast recommends opening it in the sandbox, which I have done. Why has Avast just started recognizing this file, when it has been on my computer forever and seems to be a valid Microsoft file (one Google response says be wary if found in Windows/System). It’s a pain in the nose to slow down my startup procedure with this event, and I’d like to clear it. How?

I have XP SP3 with auto update, so my Windows files should be current. I did a search for ‘netfxupdate.exe’ on this forum, but could find no other instances of this being mentioned on here.

Thanks
Abronto

Here’s the link. It got a clean bill of health from the 43 programs. Sorry, I’m not sure where you wanted me to post this.

Perhaps this is what you wanted me to do? Not very pretty.
