Netlet/IMAP

Hello,
I installed Avast home on my home computer but didn’t manage to configure it correctly with Netlet and IMAP. To access my corporate IMAP email from home, I use Netlet. Netlet connects thru internet explorer to the corparate IMAP email server. In the email accounts in Outlook XP, I only specify localhost as the IMAP server. When I install Avast, Outlook tells me it can’t connect to the IMAP server.

Any idea?

is it a ssl or tsl connection you have here? ???

by the way…is netlet an isp?

Maybe the mail scanner is blocking Netlet from using the IMAP port. Try changing the port value in avast by inserting the line
ImapListen=127.0.0.1:144
to the file avast4.ini under [MailScanner] and restart computer.
