Network client problem with Internet Explorer

As we are a school are desktops are heavily locked down. When we have net client installed and we open Internet exploer avast tried to open something but and requests a reboot. If we click no we can use the web without a problem. However if we reboot the settings are lost.

I do not have script blocker turned on. Can you let me know what it is trying to access so that I can set the appropriate permissions.

Thanks

Well, I’m not exactly sure what you’re talking about… what is it trying to open, exactly? Does it display any error messages? What settings are lost after the reboot?

thanks,
Vlk

sorry it has taken my time - busy busy busy!

The problem occurs when trying to open Internet explorer. Almost like the script blocker splash screen. However I have turned that off.

There are no error messages it just installes somthing and then requests a reboot. On reboot the same process occurs and asks for reboot again

Who exactly asks for reboot? avast? If so, please send the \setup\setup.log file from that machine…

Thanks
Vlk

Sorry perhaps I didnt say as the management console is causing the multiple connection errors that I mentiond in the previous posting I have tried to create an MSI from the install file but please find attached the log?
