New Auto-Start-up program from 'Avast'???

I had a request today (5-03-2014) apparently from Avast to allow a new auto Start-up program. Having just recovered from a major infection, I thought it wise to ask ‘the horses mouth’ whether this download request is real or not?
The download path is the regular C:\Program Files\Avast Software\Avast\Setup\Emupdate\ and the file is: 569f32e4-3bcc-40dd-a432-a282856106fd.exe
So - should I allow this ‘update’ or NOT?
