It is not totally a surprise when you consider it has two scanners, avast (99.3%) and BitDefender (99.3%), so the combined detection only raises that from a joint 99.3% detection to a combined detection rate of 99.9% only a 0.6% increase.
The Scanning Speed Test, puts many AV claims to the sword, with avast taking top place and MSE 2nd last.
Avast! beat Symantec, yay!
Dynamic results were a little disappointing, but it still isn’t finished.

The main problem why MSE is so darn slow is that they are scanning archives on-access. Otherwise it would be fairly quick.
Thank GOD for that I’m so glad Avast Free version has beating the world greatest crappy sh#t Symantec, Avast will always be my very true and trustful KING!
