we’ll soon be releasing a program update for v5 (a first program update after the official launch). If you’d like, you can test the pre-release bits now. Anyone who has problems with the official build (5.0.377) - especially system-wide crashes or hangs - is welcome to do so. This build is also supposed to fix the “hang” issue of the previous pre-release build (.393) - we’d be very grateful if those who had this problem with the 393 build could verify that it’s indeed fixed.

links removed - there’s a newer version available now.
(sorry, no incremental update for now - but running this full package on a computer with 5.0.377 already installed should allow you to do the update; alternatively, you can always reinstall).
Users of 5.0.393 can go to this build by simply invoking the Program update feature from within the avast UI.
This is a service release that is supposed to fix most of the issues reported for the 5.0.377 version. Most importatly, the intermittent BSODs should hopefully be gone.
Vlk by pre-release you mean that the next build that is comming ? But like me i got 5.0.377 now so if that pre-release is good i will can update it from my program update of 5.0.377 without problem right ?
