Avast causing two problems

  1. System tray not loading up sometimes after boot.

  2. Sound from speaker will only play on one side occasionally

Hope these get fix soon!

Do u try repair?
Repair Avast:

  1. Control Panel → Add/Remove programs → Avast
  2. Click on ‘Repair’.
  3. Follow instructions.
  4. Reboot.

As far I’am concerned, sound tray icon disappeared , lost Realtek AC97, sound and audio panel is grey.
Wanted to re-install → used by an other processus → avast because when I stop it , it’s ok.
But at next reboot , sound is dead again.

However , even if avast has caused the initial problem, I am not sure that this does not come from a bad installation of the realtek driver.
I will try to repair avast and remove traces of realtek with driver cleaner in safe mode.

nb:integrated audio to my A8N-E MB is enabled in BIOS yet.

1.Probably broken tray notification cache → Try clean tray notification cache.
2.Probably cable problem ->Try another speakers or headphones.
