Known issues:

  • Cleanup sometimes doesn’t finish optimizing registry
  • It’s not possible to remove browser extensions when protector is active

What protector are we talking about here ?

Thanks for the new release

Build seems stable.

When is the Macrium Reflect fix coming?

+1

Maybe Avast self defense…?? ???

I was thinking that, but it hasn’t impeded installing any other avast components (including the browser add-ons) in the past. So perhaps we need in UI help for this option.

But then again some of us are still have problems getting the browser add-ons installed in the first place.

+2, but I think Macrium will release version 7 sooner ;D

from Macrium:

What’s New 6.3.1734 - 21st February 2017
•In-place upgrade to Reflect v7
This release accepts Macrium Reflect v7 keys and will upgrade to v7 by Taking ‘Other Tasks’ > ‘Check for updates’.
•Avast AV software problem
A recent update to Avast AV software has prevented Macrium Reflect scheduled tasks from running. This release includes an automatic workaround to run tasks using the Windows SYSTEM account.
Note: Scheduled backups will not be visible in the Windows notification area when running as SYSTEM.
•New registry entry to disable tray icon status messages and tool tips
Customers running certain full screen games have noticed that the focus is lost when sheduled backups start. Set the following registry entry to disable tray icon messages :
Key: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Macrium\Reflect\Settings
Name: DisableTrayNotifications
Type: DWORD
Value: 1

- security issue in SafeZone browser banking mode
Which security issue we talking about here? Are they exist on stable version?

So I have a valid license but apparently it’s not recognized ???
I’m on open WIFI Not safe fix this. Thanks

Trying a repair now.

The repair fixed the license acceptance problem but now I’m getting this:

I’ve tried changing locations but without success. :frowning:

After another reboot, I’m again getting the license not accepted error:

Till this is fixed, I’m using Opera with VPN active.

A clean install fixed the problem.

By the way would it help if you updated this thread https://forum.avast.com/index.php?topic=183548.0 ?

Macrium fix doesn’t work. We still need a fix from either Macrium or Avast.

Strange, I have no issues at all with Macrium (free) and Avast…

Hi Macrium free has no problem it is the paid version with scheduled backups that do not work and give errors.

Thanks for pointing this out. Fixed.

I have installed the new version of avast and I already have the add-on in 64bit firefox.
When I close and reopen firefox, the settings of the add-in are not saved and I have to reconfigure them, instead, in chrome this does not happen.
