NEW Avast Version 22.7 (July 2022)

Well it went straight to 22.8.6030 (build 22.8.7500.734) UI 1.0.722.

That is the same as mine is at as of yesterday … I tend to agree with Simion that they released it as a final, but never updated the forum threads

I posted this question in the 22.8 Beta topic - https://forum.avast.com/index.php?topic=320860.0 - it was confirmed this was an omission that it hadn’t been posted in the forums, but it would be soon. So far no new topic on the Regular release of 22.8 on the release notes on features and bug fixes, etc.

Has this been released to the public ?

There are reports of people getting Avast version 22.8 as an automatic program update - I did a manual program update installs Avast Free avast! free 22.8.6030 (build 22.8.7500.734), UI 1.0.722 this is not a beta build. I haven’t been on the beta stream for a very long time and did a clean reinstall when switching back ???

I don’t see a new Program release for 22.8 (not beta) in the Forums. Is this an oversight or do you have a background update problem ?

Hi DavidR, thanks for bringing this up. Yes the 22.8 is public. The topic about 22.8 release should be on the forum in a moment.
