Thanks for the new release
I think I will postpone updating to 23.5 for a while, until issues are fixed.
That is what I always do.
There is a certain logic in that, personally I go a step further.
As I’m a frequent forum visitor, I monitor the New Release information:
What are bug fixes - have I got the component installed and have I been suffering any issues related to the bug.
What’s new - is the a new feature or function I’m likely to need/want.
I also monitor the forum posts to see if the new update has any unwelcome/unintended guests.
I base my updating decision on the above.
@lukas.hasik news?
Thanks
Hi,
Seeing this, I didn’t do the update and am quite worried that avast might do this.
Looks like I won’t be updating to this version either.
Question: If I have Avast 23.4, and then I wait until Avast 23.6 is released, and I update through the Avast UI, will it give me 23.6 right away? Or will it update to 23.5 and then I have to do a UI update again to get 23.6?

Looks like I won’t be updating to this version either.
Question: If I have Avast 23.4, and then I wait until Avast 23.6 is released, and I update through the Avast UI, will I still get Avast 23.6? Or will it update to 23.5 and then I have to do a UI update again ?
When you update you will get the latest version, you don’t have to step through the versions you didn’t have before (that would be both ludicrous and time consuming).
I not so long ago updated to 23.4, I did that from 23.1 and it did that in one step.
I have program updates set to manual, I monitor the forums and new program version releases.
As I mentioned here - https://forum.avast.com/index.php?topic=323898.msg1705192#msg1705192 and make the decision to update or not.
That’s good news. Now just to play the waiting game on this version.
Is there any way to roll back to the previous update seeing as 23.5 is annoying me with this SafePrice extension crap?
Can you give us an answer? Will you fix this annoying bug as soon as possible?!

That’s the Program version. I mean the x.x.x.x number in parentheses on the About Avast page. Is it 23.5.8195.0?
Hello, it’s 23.5.6066 (build 23.5.8195.785).
