18.2.2328 was released today. A new beta hasn’t been announced yet.
I report an anomaly, already partially reported in the ‘stable’ section of avast.
This problem was present already from the previous stable version.
In addition to the partial Italian translation in the section ‘history scan’, I see that by performing a full scan of the PC, which lasted more than 30 minutes, it shows me the duration ‘some seconds’

Known bug since 18.1. Still not fixed in stable version though.

Right now avast is correctly translated and the total scanning minutes are correctly detected, perhaps they will have remotely installed, as I have not updated anything, and the program updates are set in manual.

Yes is fixed now. Avast can install anything into your computer without your knowledge. They use VPS update which can contain new software or patch to fix some bugs and problems. And also emergency update which is second option. Program update is only for downloading whole new version.
