Hello,

It basically disables the background and startup processes and services which are related to a particular app. When you start the app then it automatically re-enable the processes and services so you can use the app as usual and when you close it afterwards they are put back to “sleep” again. Thus you will save some PC resources when you don’t work with the app at the moment and they are consumed only if you really work with the app (it is started).

Best regards!
