After going through all options seems things had to settle in after initial upgrade. Responding fairly well now.
Not scanning properly> Also when first initiating 'Smart Scan", it moves through the “malware scan” in just a few seconds and then through “advanced issues” in a few seconds and then “Done”.
When the Smart Scan is initiated immediately again, then the malware scan runs properly/completely showing scanned items and then scans through “Advanced Issues” properly.
This was apparent in the last build and can be reproduced consistently. Runs 1/4 through both Malware and Advanced then DONE.
Aside from ‘Smart Scan’ not running consistently with the same progress (see previous post above), I am also seeing a “hanging UI” when trying to access options.

This is what I see when the UI is initiated from Avast taskbar Icon, The UI options on the left take almost 30 seconds sometimes more to appear.
The ‘Ransom Shield’ is not starting and has to be manually started.
I only noticed when I enter UI.
NO Notification that this Shield was off! ???
Has happened a few times now
So I’ve been watching UI versions and up until a few days ago the version was 1.0 .345
However, I then noticed a few days ago it graduated to 1.0.348
Today I see it’s back down to .345
