Thanks Jan, testing it asap…

This bug is not fixed yet…!! Else, no noticeable issues here (so far).

Interesting have anyone tried?

Thanks for the new beta, it’s a second time to reboot today ;D

:frowning:

Could you please check your UI version? It works for me with UI version 1.0.370 in Avast Premier. Thanks.

Hi Jan, I’m on 1.0.370 as well.

Just updated (Avast Prem.)
No problem here disabling Shields on Win 10 1903
UI v. 1.0.370

Same here, 1.0.370 in Avast Premier. Windows 10 1809 64bit.

Hi Asyn and NON, could you please send us debug logs? Currently we are not able to reproduce the issue.

Sure, let us know what you’d need exactly.

For the interested ones, here’s a screenshot.

If you could please enable debug logs, induce the problem with disabling components. Then please send AvastSvc.log and AvastUI.log files from c:\ProgramData\AVAST Software\Avast\log\ folder to me (via slack for example). Thank you.

Done.

Done for System Win 7.

TerraX

That means Avastclear no longer required for complete uninstallation?

I’ve posed that question to the Avast developers. Let’s see what they have to say.

Will it Even Remove left over Oversteer file that remains in task manager when uninstall Avast? Not that I plan on uninstalling anytime soon, just curious on that aspect

I think you meant overseer.exe

Done.
